My personal training career began when I attended the National Personal Training Institute and earned my first personal training certification. After that, I earned a second certification through the National Strength and Condition Assocaition (NSCA). Because of my mixed passion for fitness and nutrition, I attended the Ohio State University to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics graduating magna cum laude. After graduation from Ohio State, I became a Certified Sports Nutritionist through the International Society of Sports Nutrition (CISSN), went on to finish my dietetic internship through Iowa State University, and then earn the credential of Registered Dietitian.
Jamie was a four-sport athlete at AFNorth International School before continuing her education and soccer career at University of Dubuque, Iowa. Graduating in 2013 with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science and a minor in Coaching, she continued her journey to Harrisburg Community College where she obtained her License for Massage Therapy and followed her mentor Mike Walters into the world of sports massage. Through this study, traveling, watching, and working on athletes at events such as the Metzger PA State Open Tennis Tournament and USA Olympic Weightlifting Nationals, she loves working alongside and networking with Physical Therapists, Orthopedics, and Athletic Trainers. Jamie trains with Project Lift, plays soccer and rows with local clubs.
