You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step
One of the biggest issues in our time is the fact that the vast majority tend to sell themselves short. They don’t believe they can do certain things or reach certain heights. Unfortunately, we’ve been sold a narrative throughout our lives that tends to keep us flying low into mediocrity. It often times stops us from taking the first step, any steps, toward our true dreams and goals. If I had a dollar for every time I’ve heard “I can’t defend myself. I’m not big and strong.” “There’s no way I’ll ever do a pull up.” “I’d love to do that, but I’m too out of shape.” and so on… well, I’d have a lot of dollars. We tend to think it takes a special gift and unfortunately, we weren’t given that gift.
This couldn’t be further from the truth. Really, it just takes a little action and consistency.
Whether you want to lose weight, get stronger, run your first marathon, protect your family, make a change in your community, start a business –Anything! – you need to take that first step. I’m not saying it will be easy, but if I could just show you a small taste of the potential you have… you could truly move mountains. Everyday we are blessed to see people in our facility that are doing things they never thought they could do before Endeavor. Many of them doubted themselves or simply brushed the idea of doing “that” under the rug. Until the day they decided to take the first step.
What’s holding you back? What’s the first step?
Now do it, because there’s a whole new life in your grasp, you just have to get out and get it! -aaron
